Unexpected!

When we went to the doctor to find out what the gender of our baby was, they told me that I probably wont feel Ian for a while since he was soo low and far back and that all the placenta was in the way so not to worry but that I wont have that experience for A WHILE. Kind of dissapointing but what can you do right! Well last night Curt and I were watching Teen Mom haha we have never seen that show but the baby was crying and Curt was playing with my belly. Suddenly Ian flicked mommy :) we felt him move twice and that was it but now we know there is more to come sooner :)

Almost 1/2 Way!

I can't believe how fast time goes by. It feels like we just found out about the new addition to our family :) Now that we are shopping {or should I say my parents have been shopping} and we have been trying to get Ian's room ready its getting to be faster and faster. Before I know it the week is over and I get an exciting email from What to Expect :)

Happiness!

The story behind why we have two puppies is that I bought Curtis a puppy for his birthday. He wanted a blue heeler soo bad since he always had one when he grew up. The moment to pick one was hard. He liked Jasper and I loved Baxter! Somehow we ended up with both of them. At the beginning it was easy to have two because they were tiny. THEN things got hard, I was the lecturer, the one cleaning and potty training. Jasper is very hyper and the one that does NOT listen. So we decided we should get rid of one { surprisingly Curt decided Jasper should be the one to go} Craig, Curts brother said he would take him yesterday. I was so happy I figured we were better off WRONG!! I missed him so much! Baxter would go potty outside and he would just sit on the stairs and wait for Jasper it was heartbreaking... home is not the same with out one of our boys.. Thank goodness my sister in law thinks its hard to have a dog because our boy is returning home right when we get home from the holidays on Sunday :)

Lets just say 1:00 PM took forever! Curtis met me at the doctor and brought me lunch, I hurried and ate and we went in, before we knew it they said Rafaela... we both started smiling! As soon as she started looking I KNEW, I was watching Curtis waiting for his reaction and nothing! FINALLY the nurse put on the screen ITS A BOY!!!! He was like oh wow no kidding, we both smiled the lady was being all proper about his genitals so of course my husband has to say look at his weiner. The nurse was like :O

Any who, we got our pictures and as soon as we walked out he jumped with so much excitement I will never forget today 16 weeks and 1 day we found out we are having our first son..... He said love you and left in a hurry to go tell people at work. You all know I have an addiction with shopping haha well this 4 months have been very hard to hold back so I just HAD to go to get something :) I thought Curtis would be like already shopping!! Oh no was I wrong he has been shopping for an hour at every baby store in town! :)

Tomorrow is the day :) ... Lately it makes me wonder if it could be two in there lol, we both have alot of twins in our families...
We are so anxious, I go in at one so not too long after that we will know. woo.

Early Christmas

Curt always gets back pain so I figured the best gift would be a snow blower.. if only this was my first gift for him lol.. I got it all ready and since I couldnt haul it to St. George or his parents for him to open on our Christmas parites I just told him to help me unload stuff. He went out side and in Alex's truck there was the snow blower with a HUGE bow. He was so funny, he was like a little kid. This morning, we woke up and there was a foot of snow :)

He was so proud of his new gadget, one more to the collection lol :)

Killing me

The wait is killing me, not that I have ever been patient. I just want to know what our baby is, I hate saying he or she because its harder to say she/he all the time. So it will just be nice to know for sure. A week from today we will know which is technically close but not close enough.

I've heard of the ring trick, if you carry high or low, if the baby bump is pointy or round. But honestly I can't even tell.

Well, this little girl is my youngest best friend. Although she is 10 years younger she is my partner at crime. We have had so many funny memories!

Last night my Dad was calling me, when I heard a girly little voice. It was her, she had wrote me an email and wanted me to read it right that second. Its hard that we live so far away but we mangage to stay close. She is a mini me.. Curtis always laughs because he says we {pout} the same and do the same things. lol

This was Summer 09' when we got back after the wedding, its like having a kid {she even asked Curtis if she could sleep with me}

Oh how I hate videogames, they are my worst enemy!

But how I love this guy :) Plus in almost 5 months his new hobbie will be holding his first kid

He is so cute how he talks about, when the baby will be here, I just can't wait! He really will be great! I'm definetly proud to say he is my husband :)

* 14 Weeks *

Well I was blow drying my hair and thought to put a picture of what my belly is starting to look like. I don't know if its just me or if its normal to show already.

* December *

The year is almost over!

Christmas season is my favorite! The lights, tree, decorations, foods, songs, traditions and just all about it makes me very happy. This was the first year doing our tree as a married couple and so I had to give in a little and get his input lol! He decided he wanted red, white and green to be the colors {something I never did when growing up} we always had browns or greens etc.

We happened to have gone to the Galleries for a wedding gift and OMG did I fall in love with the tree in the entrance. NAUGHTY OR NICE THEME.

I love it even more because our dogs Jasper & Baxter are from the same litter and they are soo different in every way. Their hair, their personality, brains everything lol! I always tease Curt and tell him that each dog has one of our personalities of course Baxter the good puppy is like me {hehe}



December 09':

* On the 17th we find out the gender of our little baby =)
* On the 22nd we are headed to Orem spend the night and go to St. George =)
* While in St. George i'm fee to shop at Osh Kosh with no hurries or whining that I dont know what im having and that I cant shop {speak from experience, believe me}
* For New Years, OUR families are coming to our house and we are having a celebration =)
